What is Multi-tenant?
Multi-tenant means one software platform serves many independent customers, with each customer's data isolated from every other's.
Most SaaS storefront platforms are multi-tenant: each seller gets their own store, products and orders, while sharing the underlying infrastructure.
Isolation is the critical property. A correctly built multi-tenant system makes it impossible for one seller to see another's products, orders or customers.
