Who this is for: Sellers whose primary channel is Instagram and who currently take orders through DMs and comments.

The problem this solves

Instagram brought you the customers. It is not, however, an order system, and past a certain volume that gap becomes the whole job. You answer the same price question repeatedly, verify UPI screenshots by hand, retype addresses from chat, and lose orders placed while you were asleep.

The fix is not to leave Instagram. It is to stop asking Instagram to be a checkout.

What setting up looks like

  1. Create your store

Pick a store name and slug — this becomes your permanent public address and the link you put in your bio.

  2. Add your products

Name, price, description, images and stock. Starter allows two images per product, Growth three, Pro five.

  3. Choose a theme and brand it

Six storefront themes, plus your logo, banner and brand colour, so the store looks like your Instagram rather than like a template.

  4. Set shipping and payments

Choose flat-rate, free-above-threshold or local pickup, and connect payments so orders are confirmed automatically.

  5. Put the link in your bio

Replace the link tree, and start replying to product questions with the direct product link.

What suits this workflow

  • A mobile-first storefront, because effectively all your traffic arrives from a phone.
  • One permanent link that survives every product change, so you are not editing your bio constantly.
  • Product pages you can send directly into a DM instead of retyping a price.
  • An order list with real statuses, so "did the Indore order ship?" is a glance rather than a memory test.
  • Customer records built from orders, so repeat buyers are visible rather than vaguely familiar.
  • Wishlist and order tracking on Growth and Pro, which reduce the two most common inbound questions.

Where we are not the right answer

  • We do not post to Instagram, schedule content or manage DMs — we handle what happens after the click.
  • There is no automatic product sync from an Instagram shop catalogue; products are added in the dashboard.
  • If you sell fewer than about five items and never track stock, a simpler link-in-bio tool will be faster to set up.
  • We price and sell in INR and are built for Indian buyers. International multi-currency selling is not what this is for.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to stop selling through DMs?

No, and you should not stop abruptly. Most sellers keep accepting DM orders while gradually answering product questions with a direct link instead. The proportion shifts on its own, usually faster than expected, because checkout is less effort for the buyer as well.

Can I use my Instagram handle as my store address?

Yes, provided the slug is available and not reserved. Keeping the store name and handle identical is worth doing — it reassures people they have arrived in the right place.
