Fulfilment is everything that happens between an order being placed and the customer receiving it — picking, packing, dispatching and delivering.
Small sellers usually self-fulfil from home or a small unit. Larger operations may use a third-party warehouse that stores stock and ships on their behalf.
Store pickup is the most profitable fulfilment method available to a local seller: no packaging, no courier charge and no RTO risk.
